Asanaalphabet Time!

Ee-ee-oo-oo-ah-ah!! It's #asanaalphabet time! "M" stands for Mayurasana, aka Peacock pose. A great way to manage what Buddha called "Monkey Mind" - the constant jumping around of the mind from fears, the to do list, judgements, complaints, confusion, indecision... - which makes us unhappy, restless, anxious and angry. Sound familiar😜? Yoga in general tames my monkey 🙉 mind by engaging my body, breath and mind in a posture. Mayurasana, which I affectionately call "misery asana" 😖😂requires total presence or I will fall on my face. If you don't want to risk a face plant today, try breathing deeply and intentionally.
